I had wondered about that- I had bought off the second release, Numen I think had the first. The second release was still good, but depending on what was added to replenish the tonneau, I also considered whether each subsequent release became a different blend.

The solera method would most definitely guarantee a different blend both in taste and quality each time; sometimes better, sometimes worse.
